let us go watch the Lantern Festival in Nuvali'.
we left home at 5pm, lantern launching will be at 7pm.
oooppsss.... OMG! the commotion was great, we had to park in Paseo de Sta Rosa...
we walked until we see this familiar landmark at Solenad 1,
Nuvali got many visitors today, business is quite good...
we walked again passing through this familiar bridge, connecting Solenad 1 and 2
and the Evoliving Bldg,
most families were having fun being whole again this day. riding a taxi boat,
a brief ride yet joyful & exciting enough for the little ones....
there was a whizzing sound overhead, a helicopter camera, videotaping what is going under it,
The Evoliving Bldg which houses the Site Offices of the developers
for Ayala Lands was packed all around....
photographers (amateur and professionals) are getting ready with their pods & lenses,
uncles, grandpas, momsies with their little ones are patiently waiting
everyone including furry friends awaits & prays silently that contestants will be able to answer
the questions because more correct answers mean more lanters to be launched :)
it is almost 7pm, and everyone seems to be holding their breath... as if
trying to stop the moment from passing....
oh here, at exactly 7pm, the first trickle of sky lanterns began to emerge....
please God, make me see more..... (some prayed)
and God answered their prayers, and mine :)
it was a wonderful experience to see the lanterns silently sailing through the sky,
one after the other, they look like souls searching for their source up there...
how i wish there could be more events like this,
in a place we call our second home, Nuvali....
i thank the Ayala Lands for bringing this joy to most filipino families...
it is free and open for public, you just have to bring your family to enjoy the
beauty, the clean air and special bonding moments with your loved ones.
i really enjoyed being with my family, especially everytime we visit Nuvali....
Merry Christmas and a Prosperous New Year to all !!!
Yours truly,
Vicky Lin
